AstaSorb C is a unique combination of high-dose vitamin C with astaxanthin. This combination is one of a kind in the world and combines the benefits and effects of both the active substances at once. AstaSorb C is in the form of lipo-suspension that improves the usability of the active substances in comparison with other forms of the vitamins. AstaSorb C has an orange flavour and is in the form of syrup that dilutes with 250-500 ml of water. No added sugar, suitable for diabetics.

AstaSorb C is a lipo-suspension form of high-dose vitamin C (1,2 g vitamin C/10 ml) combined with astaxanthin (3 mg/10 ml). Exact dosing of vitamin C provides good and long-lasting results. The active substance is in the form of sodium ascorbate, which has a higher bioavailability than pure ascorbic acid and does not re-acidify the body. This is more pH "neutral" form of vitamin C.

What is the Lipo-suspension Form of Vitamin C?

Vitamin C is absorbed into the body by a special system of transporters. However, the capacity of these carriers is limited. Therefore, the predicted effective single dose is 80 mg. But what if we need to get multiple doses of the regular dose into the body? One of the options besides the infusion is lipo-suspension of concentrated vitamin C. It is essentially a high concentration of fat lecithin microcapsules containing much more vitamin C. In this form, a portion of the microcapsules easily enter the body without having to take advantage of the limited capabilities of the major carriers.

The development of this form lasted almost two years. The author is a clinical pharmacist and pharmacist. Only proven pharmaceutical grade ingredients, non-GMO materials (lecithin) and other plant emulsifiers or fruit flavours are used in the production.
